Frequently asked questions
- Does the customer need a special app?
- No — just their own banking app. The code follows the EPC QR standard supported by most euro-area banks. The customer scans, checks the pre-filled transfer, and confirms.
- Are there any fees on the tips?
- None from us and normally none from banks: it is a standard SEPA transfer between two accounts. The 5 € you pay for the code is one-time.
- Can my whole team use one code?
- The code points to one IBAN. Many teams use a shared tip account and split it — or print one code per person, 5 € each.
